LeakyCon not only celebrates the wizarding world of Harry Potter, but also "engages critically with the content we love," which includes fostering an inclusive space especially for trans and non-binary folx. For three days, you're invited to join your fellow fantasy fans to shop the vendor marketplace, discuss theories, listen to wizard rock, and forge unbreakable vows bonds. Workshops and lectures include "Way of the Wand: Movements for Defensive Wand Work," "Behind the Death Eater Mask: The Psychology of Hate and the Nature of Extremism," and "Pretty Guardians: The Enduring Legacy of Magical Girls." Cosplay is encouraged, and you can hear from and meet stars like Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley, and Catherine Tate (Donna Noble in Doctor Who).
